Childcare at St. Giles
Here at St. Giles, we are called to be a place of welcome and hospitality, sharing love and nurture with people of all ages in the name of Jesus Christ. One important way we do this is through providing nursery care and extended session during Sunday School and Worship, which is often one of the first experiences little ones have with the community of faith. Volunteers serve weekly alongside our paid childcare staff to provide a safe and loving environment for our children. These vital ministries are in need of additional volunteers to be in the rotation. Volunteers choose the dates they'll serve based on their availability.

About Our Paid Childcare Staff
St. Giles employs paid childcare workers to serve in our nursery on Sundays during Sunday School and Worship, as well as congregational meals and other special events throughout the year. Like our volunteers, our staff undergoes annual background checks and training. Additionally, all staff members receive first aid training, and staff under age 18 complete 8 hours of American Red Cross Babysitter's Training, as well.
