We are looking forward to our Fall Sermon Series... What Disciples Do.
Although Christians are often identified by what they believe, Jesus seemed to care more about what his followers did. Faith practices, along with theological beliefs, are crucial to Christianity. These four to six weeks of Ordinary Time offer an excellent opportunity to explore what disciples do: practice generosity, wrestle with God, and pass on faith to our family, to name a few. Through this series, we hope and pray that we're all challenged to live out the exciting call of Jesus, "Follow Me".
Basketball signups are open through Sunday, October 1. Go to the St Giles Basketball webpage to find information about signing up or volunteering.
The St. Giles Basketball program has grown dramatically over the last few years and is in need of volunteers to run this important Youth Ministry. Teams usually practice one hour per week with games on Saturdays beginning in December. If you would like to volunteer to be a coach, assistant coach, or help in any way with the upcoming season, please contact Mike Bacon at 675-5766 or email@example.com.
